Commissioned in 2007, and completed in 2008, this fantastic sculpture was a dream of my good friend and patron Dr. Bob Baker. Afflicted by ALS - Lou Gehrig’s DIsease, he died surrounded by loved ones in 2011. The main body of the piece was an old brass Morse code signal lamp off a Navy ship. The base is a beauty shop chair stand and the crowning mascot an old Pontiac chief hood ornament, 1939 or '40. Thus the happier hunting grounds theme. Long life, much love of life, and resurgence of the best of youth and strength in the after life. 5.5' h x 8' l x 3' w , 400 lb.
